    Mix up a mixture of 3 parts Olive Oil and 1 part Soy Sauce. Add a couple dashes of sesame-chili oil. Then add some sea salt, crushed pepper, garlic salt, and red pepper flakes and mix. Finally add a tsp of sugar. Whisk entire mixture well. Marinade salmon steaks for a couple of hours in the refrigerator while soaking a cedar plank in water. Preheat your BBQ to 400 using real lump charcoal if possible. If using briquettes add a chunk of mild smoking wood. Cook indirect for 20-30 minutes depending on thickness of fillets. ...

    Taste great with Albacore or YFT.

    2 Lbs Tuna cut into bit size pieces
    1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
    3/4 Cup Green Onion, including tips
    2 tbls sesame oil
    1 tbls grated ginger
    1 chili pepper, finely chopped, no seeds
    1 tbls toasted sesame seeds

    The cleat method was taught to me by my son who worked at Waterfall Resort for the 2007 season. You grab the crab from behind upside down holding all legs in each hand. Find a cleat small to medium size and strike it up the ass so to say and keep pulling through until the shell pops off.     Did the seared Ahi again but this time on the Egg. Started with a nice 1# chuck of Ahi from a previous long range trip. One key to working with this fish that has been frozen for some time is to thaw it very slowly in the refrigerator. This usually will take two days. To season I start with a light coat of olive oil and then add my favorite seasoning of the day. For this I used a combination of a Blackened rub and sesame seeds. Started the Egg for high temp and brought the cast iron grill up to 700+ degrees. While waiting for the grill I made up some guacamole, salsa, and a salad.

    Thanks to Jim Peterson for this. Once he finally shared it I have not used anything else. This is truely the best smoked salmon brine ever - especially with a nice belly from a 20#+ Chinook.

    2 cups Apple Juice
    2 cups Pinneapple Juice
    1 cup Soy Sauce
    1 cup Teriyaki Sauce
    3/4 cups brown sugar
    2 Tbs Allspice

    Note: No salt is added.

    Tried my first Dutch Lasagna on the egg tonight, results were awesome : )
    Browned some 1 1/2 lb hamburger first then some mild Italian sausage 1 lb, sauteed one medium onion diced and five cloves of garlic chopped, mixed that with the hamburger and sausage along with some red pepper flakes,parsley flakes a little salt pepper. meanwhile do the noodles.I used a safeway select garlic basil sauce from the store that was loaded with garlic cloves.
