    All:

In case anyone is interested our group ACSF just sent two statements to AMBAG Monterey concerning protential Federal MPA's in the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary.

The letter from Dave Danbom is especially poignant as he recently passed. Dave was a long time commercial troller who served on numerous advisory councils and was truly a highliner.

    Thanks for the links.
As stated Ed Uber has retired. He was very instrumental in preventing MPA's at Pt. Bonita and Seal Rocks along with special closures at Bird Island. He made the point very clear to the agencies involved that the problems arising from disturbance were of a land based nature and not from marine use.

A huge Thanks to my friend ED and may he have the best of retirement.
