While we're at it let's hit Cordell, and send a flotilla to Morro Bay to whack that closure also. Really, fuck these dickheads as far as I'm concerned, I'll do what I want anyhow (always have, actually). Everytime you go fish, throw 20 bucks in an envelope, so when you finally get nailed, it is already paid for. I bet you have more freedom to fish and hunt in Russia than here (California) today. Thanks Matt for the report. I just got back from the river and turned on the link at 5:30 (your time) to catch the vote. Not really what I wanted to hear. Is all I can say is we tried. I met some great and wonderful people during this so called process. It was a stacked deck from the start. The 2XA team are all hero's in my mind and I will never forget all of you. Ben, Ed, Jim, etc. you are the best of the best.

With tears in my eyes it is hard to believe that I can't go fishing and abaloneing off the lands that my family has owned for over 130 years. It has been part of 5 generations which have always taught the younger ones the ropes. For the Native Americans that have uses our properties and ranch for the years before us and the years we have owned it...my heart goes out to them. As the "white man" takes more of thier heritage away.

Thanks to all that have helped, tried and supported our dreams and wishes...2XA!!!! I was the best for all and we know it................................................ ..Arch Richardson and the 85+ members of my family

A disgrace!! But lets not forget that even with the IPA there was a huge influence from guys like Ben, Dan, Sean, Ed...and more (I don't want to leave anyone out!!) and without them it would have been much, much worse.

But I sure would have liked to see them get a clear victory.

This whole things stinks to high heaven but now we have to hold their feet to the fire to prove it is working. However, if this is any example, it will also be full of BS!!

I would like to applaud the positions taken by commissioner's Kellog and Richards on the MLPA......It took balls to go out on a limb well knowing what the result would be.....I wouldn't be surprised if commissioner Bennninghoven retires from the commission very soon....he has served his purpose......

Its been apparent for a long time now that what we did or say in this process meant zero.... our one hope was the whole budget crisis, but that obviously meant nothing..... now our only hope is that the wardens feel the same way we do and just turn their heads when I, I mean people break the "law"
