So the intention is to direct the entire MLPA process through the RLFF and there will be a specific focus on marketing support for this from the ever growing Latino community.
This is a discussion on Everyone Needs to Familiarize Themselves With This within the MLPA and Marine Protected Areas forums, part of the Politics category; Here is a link to a document, I believe, will explain the focus and strategy of what we are experiencing ...
Here is a link to a document, I believe, will explain the focus and strategy of what we are experiencing with the MLPAI. Read carefully and identify the cleverly disguised language.

I object!
The MLPA process is a travesty! It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a trasvesty of two mockeries of a sham!
Ed...does this mean it is going to fall out of the hands and control of the F&G Commission?
Arch,
If they get more puppets like Sutton on the Commission it won't have to. Then they can do what they want through and with the endorsement of the State.

The strategy is to achieve corporate control of natural resources management using NGO's as promoters claiming moral and scientific superiority while continuing to mislead the public with propaganda.
Focusing on one particular ethnicity was really surprising and shows they have no problem with taking advantage of peoples ignorance to achieve their agenda.
Will it end the Commission, no, but what can happen is the makeup of the Commission might change, through attrition, and key people would be appointed to serve as Commissioners. Those Commissioners would be in the graces of the corporations agenda listed in the document.
In essence, it is a corporate take-over.
Their argument is; they feel the Commission and the Dept.. are too stupid to properly manage the natural resources of California, so they, the corporations named in the document, will use their money to "buy in" to the management of our natural resources and monetarily support key personal throughout government and the NGO's.
Interestingly the monies donated to the RLFF are tax deductible.
Also note, the National Sanctuary Program will be headed by these same entities. The MLPAI is just the beginning. There is more to come. Much more.
What do we do? Well it is time to get real involved and approach our representatives and start complaining. By complaining, I am referring to informing these representatives with the truth and not all the propaganda that is being portrayed as the holy grail of ecosystem management. Exclusionary management is NOT the best approach. Commonsense management by qualified managers, coupled with accurate scientific input, is.

I went fishing today without familiarizing myself with everything that is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT.
I caught fish and had a great time.
Also, I didn't even bother tuning in an AM radio station so I have no idea what is wrong with the planet or humans.
I'll probably go fishing tomorrow...and I STILL probably won't have any idea what is completely wrong with everyone.
See you on the water...
