Support 2XA - NOW!!!

Alright guys, everybody needs to send a letter of support for 2XA. This is the time. Many of us on this site spent many hours coming up with the only proposal that met ALL the science guidelines and did so with the least economic impact. We worked very hard and were able to produce a proposal that all fishermen, sport of commercial, can support. We have given the state the PERFECT proposal and now we need everybody and their mother to send letters of support. I wont ask again since we have now arrived at the finish line. This is it fellas. Please pass this link along to everybody you know, it is that important.

Agreed Ben, this is it gentlemen. We need to have anyone and everyone send letters of support to show that local communities recognize the process and will only support the best proposal, namely 2/XA.

Remember, 2/XA is the ONLY proposal to effectively meet the scientific guidelines, have the highest conservation value, the least overall socioeconomic impact, easiest to enforce, least costly, and garners the all important support of local communities and the associated stewardship.

You don't have to make a big letter just something simple. Please do it now.

I've got the North Coast covered....allready letters have been sent and more to follow. The ICO in Gualala will run the notice and hopefully get people into writing. Thanks, Ben, Ed, Paul and the total team of 2XA...I never have lost faith!

Went down this am and harvested a couple of sea snails...as a depreditation situation...the darn abalone are eating Karen G's "larve"!!! Got to get rid of the larve killers next month boys!!!!

No agenda published yet http://www.fgc.ca.gov/meetings/2009/2009mtgs.asp but it is believed that the NCC MLPA proposals will be before the F&G Commission at their meeting on Thursday, May 14 in Sacramento. The meeting will be held at the Resources Building, 1416 Ninth Street, Sacramento, CA.
